You CAN Teach an Old Car New Parts.

Sooooo after 3 long years (totally my fault), I just got my 22RE bottom end back from the machine shop. I used Whitten's Machine Shop in Lewisville, TX, and I have to give it to them, they took care of me. Aside from super awesome prices, being totally great people to deal with, AND keeping my engine for wayyyy longer than they probably should have, they also assembled everything free of charge. Tom is a great guy, and I highly recommend them to anyone needing work done in the DFW area. Anyways, here is the deets:

- '84 22RE block bored .040 and shot peened

- Re-balanced crank

- LCE 9.0:1 compression street pistons

- LCE chromoly rods

-Clevite 77 main, rod, and thrust bearings
